It's been a good while since we've heard new material from Marina Diamandis. As it turns out, the singer songwriter has been busy at work putting the final touches on her fourth studio album, the followup to 2015's Froot. In a note posted to her Twitter, Diamandis acknowledged her absence and said she "promises this next record will be worth the wait."
Now, in a new interview with Abbey Road Studios, she's explained a bit more about the album's creation. "[It's progressing] really really well...I took a break and then I have been writing ever since. I've kind of been writing more than I ever have before, which is unexpected because I thought that I was not going to do this anymore, for a while." Diamandis also revealed she's been listening to the new Lykke Li and Kanye West albums. Watch the entire interview below.
