When it comes to playful denim, there's no need to look further than 69. The cult favorite denim company has carved a niche for itself within fashion, taking the typically utilitarian fabric to new heights with exaggerated silhouettes and understated elegance, all while remaining genderless. Now, 69 is gearing up for its first solo museum exhibition set to take place at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles.

Titled 69: Déjà Vu, the exhibition includes a survey of the line's clothing from its inception in 2011 to the new Spring/Summer 2019 collection, as well as a selection of videos and photographs that represent 69's go-to blurring between promotional material and artwork. Get the feel for 69 below, and catch 69: Déjà Vu at the MOCA from August 4 to October 28.
