Ariana Grande will perform at the VMAs

With the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards just around the corner, the VMAs revealed on Thursday that Ariana Grande will be performing at this year's award ceremony. Grande — who has five nominations this year will reportedly perform cuts from her highly anticipated Sweetener album which arrives on August 17, three days before the awards show. Logic and Shawn Mendes will also perform during the evening.

The 2018 VMA nominees have already been announced, as Cardi B leads the way with ten nominations. Jennifer Lopez is also set to perform in honor of winning this year's Video Vanguard award.

The VMAs will air live from Radio City Music Hall on August 20.
