John Legend has added his voice to the growing number calling for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh to be disqualified from serving. Kavanaugh is accused of sexually assaulting Dr. Christine Blasey Ford when they were both at high school in the 1980s. Despite the accusation, Kavanaugh could still be voted onto the Supreme Court, where he would serve for the rest of his life.
Legend appears in an advert produced by the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund Inc. speaking out against the nomination. Who becomes the next Supreme Court Justice is the decision of a lifetime — your lifetime,” Legend says before adding that Kavanuagh is "unfit" for the position. The short ad also includes the voices of the public who echo his sentiments. Check it out below.
