The ever-elusive Banksy has released a new video detailing the now infamous shredding of his "Girl With Balloon" painting — which was auctioned off at Sothebys earlier this month. The clip first shows some behind-the-scenes footage of Banksy creating the self-shredding frame that holds the painting, and giving it a few test runs. Banksy also mentioned in the clip that the painting was supposed to shred all the way through — instead of just half-way.

The rest of the clip shows Banksy — or whoever pushed the button to set off the machine — at Sothebys on auction day. The POV footage includes the person mingling among the crowd, speaking with attendees, and pushing the button as soon as "Girl With Balloon" was auctioned for approximately $1.3 million.
