Memphis rapper Blac Youngsta has been one of the more entertaining artists inside and outside the booth in recent memory. After getting his start with some backing from Yo Gotti, Blac Youngsta took off running with his own lane consisting of his charismatic personality and raps that ring out in the streets and strip clubs, equally.

Blac Youngsta came through The FADER office to talk about simpler times like the first CD he ever got which included the DJ version of Destiny's Child's "Bills, Bills, Bills." He also tells us about the first car he had, which turned out to be more of an investment than planned. He goes into the struggle and then excitement over hearing his song "Heavy" on the radio for the first time. Blac Youngsta ends with the first meeting with Yo Gotti which he's never shared before.
