Stranger Things game to be released alongside third season
The action adventure RPG will be released in 2019.
The forthcoming season of Stranger Things will be accompanied by a "retro-style action adventure RPG game," according to creators Ross and Matt Duffer. Variety reports that the pair announced the news at Thursday night's Game Awards in Los Angeles. A trailer for the game can be seen below.
The action of the game is set to follow the story of the Netflix show's upcoming third season. A return date is yet to be announced for the show but is expected in 2019. The game will reportedly be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Mac, PC, and mobile devices.
A trailer for S3 of Stranger Things was released this summer ahead of its return in the new year.
