Lil Pump officially releases “Butterfly Doors” without the offensive lyrics

Lil Pump has officially released "Butterfly Doors" after a previously released teaser drew criticism from fans and celebrities alike because it featured a racial slur. In the official release, the offensive lyrics have been removed.

As previously reported, the song originally featured the lyrics "they call me Yao Ming cause my eyes real low." "Butterfly Doors" also featured Lil Pump saying "ching chong."

In the version that was released to streaming platforms, "Yao" is still audible, but the rest of the controversial lyrics have been completely removed. Former NBA player Yao Ming's name has been completely removed from the music video.
