South London's Ms Banks has been grinding away on the U.K. rap scene for over five years now, slowly but surely building her profile one fire track at a time. Things stepped up a notch in 2017 when Nicki Minaj gave her a shout out and earlier this month she joined Little Mix on stage at the Brit Awards. Today she premieres new song "Snack" via The FADER and shares details of her new album.

"Snack" is a bubbly anthem about knowing your own worth and flaunting it featuring vocals Nigerian-born afrobeats singer Kida Kudz. It arrives alongside a video in which Banks and Kudz show off their best fits and get down to producer Guilty Beatz's beat. It's the first track to be taken from Banks's Coldest Winter Ever pt. 2 project, due on May 9.

Speaking to The FADER via email, Banks said: “To be a snack is to look sweet. 'Snack' is feel good record about walking into the club and owning the room and feeling empowered and comfortable in your own skin. Hopefully when you hear it, it gives you that vibe.”
