Loyle Carner announces new album Not Waving, But Drowning

The British rapper’s new record is due April 19.

Loyle Carner has announced details of his second album, Not Waving, But Drowning. The album is Carner's follow-up to 2017 debut Yesterday's Gone and will be released on April 19. Last month he shared Jorja Smith collaboration "Loose Ends," which features on the album.

Other guests confirmed for the album include Kwes, Sampha, Tom Misch, and more. Not Waving, But Drowning features the singles "Ottolenghi" and "You Don't Know." According to a press release the album is named after a poem his grandfather wrote, inspired by the poetry of Stevie Smith.
