Joey Bada$$ stopped by The Angie Martinez Show on Power 105 to announce that he’ll be playing Wu-Tang Clan rapper Inspectah Deck in the upcoming Hulu miniseries Wu-Tang: An American Saga. A dramatisation of the Clan’s origin story, An American Saga is currently in production and due to be released some time this year.
Aside from Joey Bada$$, An American Saga is executive produced by Method Man and RZA, with Dave East is set to play Method Man. “It’s pretty on point from what I’ve seen. I like what they’re doing,” Bada$$ told Martinez. “The only thing with TV is it ain’t a music video. There’s no playback. You just have to trust.
