One of the most anticipated hip-hop releases of the year, Bandana from Freddie Gibbs and Madlib, arrives today. It's the duo's sophomore full-length collaboration after Piñata shook up the rap world in 2014. Five years later, Madlib's psychedelic beats and Gibbs's concrete-hard lyricism are still remarkable cohorts. Guests on Bandana include Pusha-T, Killer Mike, Anderson. Paak, Yasiin Bey, and Black Thought. Here's hoping it's not another half decade until the next one.
