Kawhi Leonard became a free agent in 2019 after steering the Toronto Raptors to a championship, and the star player is being heavily courted by the Los Angeles Lakers, Clippers, as well as the Raptors to play in the next season of the NBA.

Leonard could still be days away from a decision, but he arrived in Toronto yesterday for a much-hyped meeting in an adoring city. According to FOX Sports's Chris Broussard, Drake was "heavily involved" in the negotiations, which involved "[talks] of having Kawhi involved w/his OVO record label." On Tuesday, it was reported that Drake was planning a campaign to convince Kawhi to stay.

There's no word on what Kawhi's role at OVO Sound would be. But it's safe to say that if there is a God, that role will involve an R&B album from Kawhi Leonard.
