North Carolina hip-hop trio Little Brother will be releasing something new on Tuesday, August 20 at midnight. Phonte, one half of the duo, announced an impending release on social media, and hinted at a title: "Little Brother. May The Lord Watch. Midnight." There's no word on whether it's a song, album, or something else entirely. See his tweet below:
Little Brother disbanded in 2010 after a career that included four studio albums and influencing rappers like Drake. However, Phonte, Big Pooh, and producer 9th Wonder reunited last year at Durham's Art of Cool Festival, and in an email to DJBooth in May, Phonte confirmed that he and Pooh were working on new Little Brother music.
