Prince’s estate shares rare 1999 era outtake “Don’t Let Him Fool Ya”

The song is set to appear on the posthumous deluxe reissue of the iconic album, 1999.

With Prince's 1999 album being reissued later this month, more and more is trickling from the icon's uncovered music vault, which reportedly contains enough music to release an album a year for the next 100 years.

So far, this upcoming project has seen live versions of "1999" and "International Lover" get the release treatment. Now, the late star's estate has shared a third song from the vault, "Don't Let Him Fool Ya," set to be among the 35 previously unreleased tracks to be featured on the 1999 deluxe re-issue. The song has been a rare fan favorite for years but was never officially released until now.

The estate's official Twitter account shared that the song as recorded in the summer of 1982, and that every part of the song was "recorded by Prince himself."

The reissued deluxe version of 1999 drops on November 29. Listen to "Don't Let Him Fool Ya" above.
