Moses Sumney announces double album, shares new song “Virile”

græ will be released in two parts in 2020.

Moses Sumney will release his new album græ in two parts, it has been announced. Sumney's second LP will be a double album split into a pair of releases: the first due in February and a second half, alongside the physical release, on May 15. New song "Virile" is streaming above alongside a sweaty, meat-heavy video.

græ is the follow-up to Sumney's 2017 debut Aromanticism. The 20-track album is described in a press release as "a conceptual patchwork about greyness."

Moses released two EPs last year: Black In Deep Red, 2014 and Make Out in My Car: Chameleon Suite. The latter featured remixes from Sufjan Stevens and James Blake. He also performed with Stevens and St. Vincent at the 2018 Oscars.
