Since his release from prison in 2018, Buju Banton has seemingly not stopped moving in 2019. Not only has he been on the largely successful Long Walk to Freedom tour, he's also continued putting out new music, dropping singles including “Bagga Mouth,” “False Pretense,” and “Country for Sale”.

On Friday, Banton announced his recent partnership with Jay-Z's Roc Nation and also dropped the visuals for his latest single, the bass-booming "Steppa." The video finds Banton in the lush landscapes and city settings of Jamaica, helping opposing gang members come to a peaceful agreement and front booming sound systems in the dancehall and in the streets. It's an apt clip that encapsulates much of what Banton has stood for over the course of his nearly 30-year career.
