Watch Vampire Weekend perform “Christmas Time Is Here” with a children’s choir

The band also played “Harmony Hall” during their Late Late Show performance.

Vampire Weekend were the musical guests on The Late Late Show on Thursday and Ezra Koenig's band brought the Christmas cheer with them. The group opened their performance with "Christmas Time Is Here," the Vince Guaraldi Trio song best known for its appearance on A Charlie Brown Christmas, backed by a choir of children. The kids then stuck around to provide back-up on "Harmony Hall," a highlight of the band's 2019 album Father of the Bride. It turns out hiring small children is a good way to send a late night show's audience wild. Check out the performance above.

Father of the Bride was released in May. In August the band teamed up with Los Angeles restaurant HomeState to launch an official Vampire Weekend taco flavor, with all proceeds going to charity. The ‘Vegetarian Weekend’ raised money for PATH, a non-profit organization working to end homelessness in California.
