Even while traveling to make a living off of music, A2 still has a special someone from back home on his mind. In the new video for his song "Renegade," the South London rapper is in another city, far from his girl, caught up in live shows and the studio. Director Jordon Wi-Fi of the collective Last Night In Paris nests a screen within the larger video to represent the concurrent, sometimes contradictory, thoughts in A2's lyrics: "Hate you now but love you more than yesterday" and "Money over everything till something change."

A2 is conflicted on asking his girl to wait for him and also giving her the choice between him and someone else. In an email, he stressed the choice to be made with, "It’s like the red pill or the blue pill. Gotta pick one."
