Late last night, Billie Eilish became the youngest solo artist ever to win Album of the Year at the Grammys, and the youngest person to ever sweep all four major categories: AOTY, as well as Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best New Artist. Billie herself, though, seemed to think that not all of those awards was deserved, with the young star taking time out of her acceptance speech to express how much she loves Ariana Grande’s AOTY-nominated thank u, next. “Can I just say that I think Ariana deserves this,” she says, with a handful of her words censored for the broadcast. “thank u next … I think it deserves more than anything in the world.” Ariana was nominated for five Grammys but went home empty handed; Billie won five, and her brother Finneas won Producer of the Year.
