It's hard to think of anyone in the pop game having more fun than Tove Lo. A few weeks back, she vaulted past her last album Sunshine Kitty with two new Finneas-produced singles, "Bikini Porn" and "Passion and Pain Taste the Same When I'm Weak." Today, she's going back to the album for an explosive new video for one of its best tracks, "Are U Gonna Tell Her," a collaboration with Brazilian artist MC Zaac.
The wildly passionate clip was fittingly filmed in São Paulo and directed by Alaska. Last fall, Tove Lo told us the story behind the cross-cultural collaboration: "Brazil is a place where I have a lot of fans and I love playing shows there, and Ludvig had been in a hole of listening to all these Brazillian funkers. They’re all MC something, and a lot of them are just dudes living in the favelas so it’s really hard to get ahold of them. We had to track someone down to be an interpeter to get the phone number for MC Zaac and it was just a whole thing."
"I wish I had it all on film," she continued. "Trying to do this phone call and trying to give feedback when nobody understands what the other person is saying. But we killed it!" Watch the "Are U Gonna Tell Her" video above.
