Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz has accepted a plea deal from the Coweta County District Attorney’s office, TMZ reports. The rapper was arrested last year for possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and failure to maintain lane. (He was also carrying a gun, but was not dealt any firearms charges, indicating he likely holds a license for it.) Now, Badazz has plead guilty to the misdemeanor possession charge, with prosecutors dropping the rest of the charges in exchange. In turn, Badazz will be put on probation for six months and given a $1000 fine, meaning he will avoid jail time entirely. Read TMZ's full report here.
