Bernie Sanders is making his way through the country for the rest of February, hosting rallies and speaking events in the hope of rallying as much support as he can in his bid for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. Last night, he held a rally in Houston, Texas, in which he spoke to supporters and hosted guest speaker Marianne Williamson, who strongly endorsed Sanders’ bid. Providing music for the evening was none other than Nashville native Soccer Mommy — aka Sophie Allison — a strong Sanders supporter who has been vocal about his candidacy in recent months. Allison is one of many musicians who have endorsed Sanders, including Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Frankie Cosmos, and Speedy Ortiz; she follows in the footsteps of Bon Iver, Vampire Weekend, and The Strokes, who have all performed at Sanders rallies over the past few months. Watch footage of Soccer Mommy playing in Houston — and of Sanders saying “Let me thank Soccer Mommy” — below.
