Bright Eyes’ first single in nine years, “Persona Non Grata,” is out tomorrow

The band was set to play the first show of their reunion tour tonight in Tokyo.

At the top of this year, Bright Eyes announced a tour that was initially supposed to kick off tonight (March 23) in Tokyo. The show has since been postponed due to the global spread of COVID-19, but Bright Eyes fans still have something to look forward to. The band has officially announced that their new single, "Persona Non Grata," is due out tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. EST.

"Persona Non Grata" will mark the band's first new track in over nine years. Their last album, The People's Key, arrived back in 2011. In the time since, Conor Oberst has released a few solo projects, as well as a collaborative album with Phoebe Bridgers as Better Oblivion Community Center.
