It's also cacophonous at times and might make you feel uncomfortable, which aligns with the new visual that contains scenes from protests in Hong Kong, Palestine, Iraq, Chile, America, and more. Through all the madness, there is still some kind of righteousness you can draw from the idea that people are demanding progress.
In an email, the Iranian-American artist relayed the inspiration for the video: "The past 12 months have seen protests across the globe, some peaceful, some violent. Though separated geographically, they're united in spirit. ‘Thief’ celebrates those fighting to take back their rights."
