Everybody works and everybody eats in Manga Saint Hilare’s “Not Around” video with P Money

“Man are so busy trying to look rich, they forget to get rich.”

Although Manga Saint Hilare joined the Roll Deep Crew in 2004, it wasn't until he took a step back and honed in on his solo material around 2015 when he hit his stride. For his latest video "Not Around," he reminisces about his younger days with his friends and getting into parties. He might get into parties easier these days but the names on the guest list with him are certainly the same. P Money hops onto the third verse with dense metaphors in his signature rapid-fire flow.

The Dane-directed video features Saint Hilare's posse not only putting in work to package up the now-sold out merch around the newest album, Make It Out Alive, but also break bread together. He also explained in an email how the song almost didn't happen: "I was drawing near the end of completing the project and I felt like I needed another heavy-hitting song. I had some beats from Jammz and to be honest it wasn’t his favourite but I personally caught a vibe from it. I wrote it out and I could hear P Money on it, so I hollered and he came and patterned his verse in about 20 minutes. He’s a legend for real."
