Floating Points and Pharoah Sanders come from two very different worlds. Saunders is a legendary jazz musician and saxophone player, and Floating Points is best known for immersive electronic music that brings a watchmaker's care to creating dancefloor music. The two artists are combining their considerable talents for a new album Promises, featuring the London Symphony Orchestra. It's easily one of the most blissful records of the year so far, but too intricate and ambitious to ever be relegated to background listening. Take a couple of deep breaths and have a listen below.
