For fans of underground rap, Tha God Fahim needs little introduction. The prolific Atlanta musician built a name for himself with blunt, gritty raps in a vein not unlike that of close collaborators Mach-Hommy and Your Old Droog. Behind the boards, Fahim is just as effective as he is on the mic—warm soul samples are warped into chilling, ghastly loops for him to spit hardened street wisdom over. Today, Tha God Fahim has returned with Six Ring Champ, his second studio album for Nature Sounds. Your Old Droog makes multiple appearances on the album and production is handled by Fahim, Nicholas Craven, and Camoflauge Monk. Check it out below.

Earlier this year, Tha God Fahim and Your Old Droog teamed up for Tha Wolf On Wall St 2: The American Dream, a sequel to their 2021 joint album. He also joined Mach-Hommy on Dump Gawd: Triz Nathaniel, which included the Conductor Williams-produced "D'Paramountcy." Triz Nathaniel isn't available on streaming, though; you'll have to get that from Mach-Hommy's website for the low price of $222.
