Sam Ray changed his band's name from Teen Suicide to American Pleasure Club in 2017. They released four albums under the new moniker in the following two years, and Ray has also released two solo LP's in the interim as Ricky Eat Acid. But today, he's brought back the old moniker for the first time in five years for the release of "coyote (2015-2022)."

The six-minute track presents as a sprawling piece of ambient post rock with contributions from long-time band member Sean Mercer, as well as Spencer Radcliffe and Max Kuzmyak. In its final 75 seconds, however, Ray switches gears, singing a simple melody over lightly strummed acoustic guitar chords.
