Uzi's been open for a while now about their efforts to tap back into the spirit of their career-making project LUV Is Rage, and "Space Cadet" is another valiant, convincing attempt without feeling too much like a throwback. Uzi's ear for beats is still as strong as ever, with Brandon Finessin, Bally, and ShaunGoBrazy turning in a psychedelic, swirling monster. Sonically, it feels like the logical next step after Eternal Atake, and the progress is exciting.
