The life of a veteran rapper is a tricky thing to navigate. Do you attempt to establish a legacy and make sure future generations know your importance to the genre a la Dr. Dre? Maybe you prefer to explore business ventures and boost your bank balance through an alcohol company (Diddy) or take over TV (50 Cent). They're solid options, obviously, but Redman is doing things a little different. As he informed his Twitter followers on Tuesday, he's "wilding in the skies" these days as a fully licensed skydiver. This, clearly, is the most iconic way to carry yourself, a move that says "Earth is not enough for me, for I belong to the clouds now."

Redman announced news of his qualification alongside a video compilation of his many dives. "I worked HARD for this !!" he wrote alongside the video. "27 JUMPS and Studied Hard for my Written Exam and Passed TODAY!! I'm an OFFICIAL A LICENSED SKYDIVER!! I'm WILDING IN THE SKIES." Interestingly, Ja Rule is in the comments saying he has done four jumps with another 23 to go. Is this a trend?

As XXL points out, Redman got his skydiving license from Skydive Spaceland in Houston, who also joined in the celebrations. The company shared a photo of Redman and their employees alongside the statement, “From Christina Aguilera's "Dirrty" to "How High" Redman blessed us with his presence while getting his A License! Now he is apart of our SkyFamily forever! Welcome Home!”
