How can I watch the Emmys?

The Emmys are broadcast live on September 12 at 8 p.m. EST / 5 p.m. PST. on NBC and on the streaming platform Peacock. In Canada, the Emmys can be found on CTV (both its television channel and apps). Viewers in the United Kingdom can watch the Emmys live on Sky Showcase starting at 2300 GMT.

Who is hosting the Emmys?

Kenan Thompson, a veteran of Saturday Night Live (and, of course, All That) will take over hosting duties this year after Cedric The Entertainer oversaw the proceedings in 2021. Thompson has received six Emmy nominations: five for his work on Saturday Night Live and one in 2021 for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his sitcom Kenan.

Who's nominated at the Emmys?

A lot of FADER favorites are nominated: Donald Glover receives his third nomination for Best Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Euphoria has three nominations: Best Drama Series, Best Lead Actress in a Drama Series (Zendaya), and Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series (Sydney Sweeney).

Quinta Brunson's breakout comedy Abbot Elementary hit has five nods, including Best Comedy Series, Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Series (Brunson), and two nominations for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series (Sheryl Lee Ralph and Janelle James). Here's hoping that Better Call Saul gets its much-deserved, long overdue Best Drama Series win, too.
