Nick Hakim has dropped "Vertigo," the second single from upcoming album Cometa. The track follows "Happen," shared last month, and arrives ahead of the new album's October 21 release date. Cometa (named after the Spanish word for "kite") is Hakim's third album in three years following 2020's Will This Make Me Good and Small Things, released last year.
In a statement, Hakim said the album is about love. “The key is to find that extremity of love for yourself,” he said. “It’s about growing into someone you want to be; it’s about finding pure love within yourself when the world around us seems to be crumbling.”
