Margo Price will release new album Strays on January 13, 2023. News of the album is accompanied by lead single "Change Of Heart" and a headline tour announcement.

Strays is Price's fourth studio album and the follow-up to 2020's That's How Rumors Get Started. The album is co-produced by Jonathan Wilson alongside Price and features guest vocals from Sharon Van Etten and Lucius, plus guitar from Mike Campbell (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers).

“I feel this urgency to keep moving, keep creating," Price says in a statement. "You get stuck in the same patterns of thinking, the same loops of addiction. But there comes a point where you just have to say, ‘I'm going to be here, I'm going to enjoy it, and I'm not going to put so much stock into checking the boxes for everyone else.’ I feel more mature in the way that I write now, I’m on more than just a search for large crowds and accolades. I’m trying to find what my soul needs."

In addition to the new album and single, Price has also announced tour dates spanning both late 2022 and early 2023. She will perform live across North America from late November through early March, including stops at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre and New York’s Webster Hall. Tickets for the new dates are on-sale at 10am on Sept 23. Price will also publish her debut memoir, Maybe We’ll Make It, on October 4.
