Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – Music From and Inspired By cover art
The soundtrack to the latest Marvel blockbuster, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is out on Friday (November 4), and today the project’s 19-song tracklist has been revealed. It includes Rihanna, who made her long-anticipated return to music last week with the soundtrack’s lead single “Lift Me Up.”
The album’s artists include a number of western rap superstars, globe-conquering and rising artists from the continent of Africa, and musicians from Mesoamerica. Burna Boy, Fireboy DML, CKay, and Tems join Future, PinkPantheress, Stormzy, ADN Maya Colectivo, and many more, with over 40 artists from around the world contributing. The project is composed and produced by Ludwig Göransson and was recorded in six studios across five countries.
The soundtrack for the first Black Panther film was executive produced by Kendrick Lamar. It was won a Grammy for Best Rap Song (“King’s Dead” by Jay Rock, Lamar, Future, and James Blake).
