Kali Uchis has shared "Moonlight," the latest single from her forthcoming album Red Moon In Venus. The single follows "I Wish You Roses," released earlier this month, with both songs set to feature on the English language album when it is released on March 3.
"Love is the message,” Uchis says in a statement about the new album. “Red Moon In Venus is a timeless, burning expression of desire, heartbreak, faith, and honesty, reflecting the divine femininity of the moon and Venus. The moon and Venus work together to make key aspects of love and domestic life work well. This body of work represents all levels of love—releasing people with love, drawing love into your life and self-love. It’s believed by many astrologers that the blood moon can send your emotions into a spin, and that’s what I felt represented this body of work best.”
Soon after releasing Red Moon In Venus Uchis will embark on a headline North American tour. The run of shows begin in Austin, Texas on April 25 and include a date at Radio City Hall in New York. U.K. singer-songwriter RAYE will provide support on select dates.
