The Writers Guild Of America continues to strike in search of better pay and assurances about a non-AI future for your favorite TV shows. The writers have been picketing in Los Angeles and New York since the start of the strike earlier this month and those outside of the Netflix HQ in Hollywood on Tuesday received a surprise in the form of an impromptu Imagine Dragons concert.

Footage of frontman Dan Reynolds and guitarist Daniel Wayne Sermon performing their songs "Radioactive," "Believer," "Enemy," and "Whatever It Takes" were shared online. At one point Reynolds joked that he hadn't "realized that these songs are all so appropriate" for the situation.

Later, Reynolds told TMZ that he and his band supports the strike. “We just want fair compensation for people who put in the time and are incredible creators…,” he said. “We have many friends who are writers. The writers are the ones who make all of the magic happen… My greatest joy comes from these people — the writers.”

The WGA strike is on-going. Earlier this week Snoop Dogg expressed support for the writers, suggesting musicians should take similar action against streaming companies.
