Helena Hauff announces fabric presents mix
With the full project due out September 22, Hauff has released its lead single, “Turn Your Sights Inward.”

Helena Hauff has announced that she’ll be sharing a new mix for fabric Records, the label branch of the popular London club fabric, on September 22. It will be the second installment of their fabric presents series, following last month’s fabric presents Saoirse.
The project is the Hamburg techno scene leader’s first album-length work since 2020’s Kern Vol. 5, a similarly conceived, two-hour-plus mix for the Berlin club Tresor’s own guest DJ series. Key differences between that record and fabric presents Helena Hauff include the latter mix’s significantly shorter runtime (a still-substantial 77 minutes) and its inclusion of a Hauff original — “Turn Your Sights Inward,” out today (August 1).

The new track is a consistent, six-and-a-half-minute barrage of heavy industrial drums and sub-bass, punctuated by gummy synth pads that serve to soften (if just barely) the battering onslaught. Listen below.
