Despite initial reports that Matty Healy would be feature on Taylor Swift's re-recording of 1989 despite their public break-up back in June, a spokesperson has confirmed that he will not be on the forthcoming record. "Neither Matt Healy nor The 1975 are on this album," they told DailyMail.com.

Yesterday (September 12), The Sun alleged Healy would appear on the album. “Taylor and Matty recorded the song when they were dating," a music insider told the publication at the time. "They’re not even in contact anymore but there’s no hard feelings and Taylor will still release the tune. Taylor was a big fan of The 1975 way before she and Matty hooked up. The band worked with her on her Midnights album but the songs they made never came out."

The FADER has reached out to Taylor Swift and Matty Healy's representatives for comment.
