Next weekend (November 11), 27-year old teen heartthrob Timothée Chalamet will host Saturday Night Live with the help of musical guests boygenius, the band made up of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker. It’ll be Chalamet’s second time hosting the sketch comedy show, appearing first in 2020. Although the show hasn’t proven to be popular among Gen Z, this booking has gotten a lot of people excited. “I don’t think any combination could be more exciting for me,” one X user wrote, while another tweeted, “They did this for me. I needed this. Thank you Lorne Michaels.” However, some poked fun a the announcement, saying the episode’s airing would be a “big win for annoying people.”
