Back in April, Atlanta rapper Tony Shhnow sat down for an episode of The FADER Interview and spoke about how important mixtapes were to his creative development. He's never really let go of the sense of spontaneity and homage that were prevalent during the heydays of DatPiff and MyMixtapez; it's something you'll hear on his April album Love Streak and I Can’t Feel My Face Too, a new tape with Florida underground veteran Robb Bank$.

The new tape's title is itself a reference to Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana's iconic link-up, with the 14 tracks that balance remixes with originals (keep an ear out for the classic "Evil Empire" drops scattered throughout). "Understand" featuring DRAM samples Juvenile's 1999 track, "Respect The Shooter" uses the anxiety-spiking beat for Ludacris' "Act a Fool," and "Hallucinating" makes good use of Future's 2017 classic. Shhnow and Banks's flows complement each other nicely throughout the project — Shhnow skips his words like smooth stones over still water while Banks opts for more of a hydroplane glide.
