Sure, we were geeked to check out Baltimore rapper Mullyman's new single “Home Of The Realest” with Memph Bleek just on the strength, but then we heard Mully's verse - and it features the first officially recorded “FADER Magazine” reference.

We've been brought up in weeded freestyles on EVR and our R. Stevie Moore theme song, but this joint is official. So now we're hyper-geeked, with plastic light sabers and Wookie masks and shit. (And with the Baltimore rapper's claim we called him “the most realistic” it's a kick to have the tables turned and find ourselves being the ones quoted out of context.)





Though his hometown radio station 92Q is still frontin' and hasn't added the single to rotation, it is getting played on Washington DC's WPGC. Mullyman will be filming a video for the single in early June, following this weekend's shoot in Baltimore for the video to “Buck On 'Em”, the Clinton Sparks remix to his collab with Freeway that appears on Sparks' (New Radicals referencing?) debut LP, Maybe You've Been Brainwashed. Mullyman's full-length, titled either Mullymania or The Leak (he hasn't decided yet), will be released sometime this year.
