Almost 2 years after his epic striver's jam "Ain't Gon Let Up" didn't get nearly as big as it should have, and less than a year after being shot through the face in a botched robbery, you have to wonder if the biggest frustration in DG Yola's career has been watching Soulja Boy become a cultural phenomenon by basically jacking "Ain't Gon Let Up" and replacing its crushing energy with a funny catchphrase. It's been a minute since Yola put out a song that made us think he still had it, but "I Know U Like Dat" might be it, as dude finally sounds back to full strength. It also helps that the production sounds like a carnival ride.
