We missed the debut of the Flight Of The Conchords' One Night Stand special on HBO, so we checked out "New Zealand's fourth most popular folk parody duo" at the UCB Theatre in Los Angeles this weekend.
We chuckled a lot during their set - mainly at their deadpan stage banter, not so much on the songs where they rapped - but perhaps most notably, Kyle Gass Tenacious D was in the audience. He spent most of the set with his arms crossed and sort of smiling.
When the three met it must have been weird and kind of awkward, like the scene in Don't Look Back when Bob Dylan meets Donovan. We can just imagine it...
