When the FADER edit staff rolled out to Coney Island a few weekends ago to watch Jack N Meg absolutely murderize Keyspan Park, we were too busy rocking out to "Denial Twist" (and dodging those plastic Bud Light bottles everyone was kicking about) to concern ourselves with merch. BAD IDEA. The following Monday, we started hearing about a miniature record player the Stripes started selling that weekend. Now Jack himself is explaining how this amazing "Triple Inchophone" came to be...and how you can only buy it at the Stripes' live shows. Arrrrgh! Van Halen were right - nothing is more expensive than regret.
