His third edition of block-fresh burners caps an amazing run for the Harlem prince. Put together, the Cooked Crack mixes stand as one of the best set of songs released by anyone this year. But our favorite thing about these discs is that it's clear dude likes the same rap music we do. Vol. 3 features Santana rapping over "How I Could Just Kill A Man," ("Just because we call it Sugar Hill don't make it sweet") Big Daddy Kane's "Ain't No Half Steppin" ("I'm the raw that y'all been waiting for/ Cook it up, free base for all"), Em's "My Name Is," "Regulate" and "U Don't Know," and he skips down memory lane murdering them all.
