DJ Premier's catalog is pretty much unimpeachable, and there's no doubt that we respect dude both as an artist and an individual. That said, his personal crusade against current music and "microwave DJs" is becoming more and more ridiculous and Don Quixote-like by the day. Case in point: Premo's new No Talent Required mixtape, featuring a pair of CD decks and the Serato Scratch program mockingly Photoshopped on the cover with a large sticker screaming "MIXTAPE MADE WITH ACTUAL RECORDS." Thing is, almost none of the music on the CD - from Game and Nas's "Why You Hate The Game" to Jay-Z's "Lost Ones" - even exists in "actual" vinyl format. Shit, we could be totally wrong on this though, maybe Lil Dap is manning an mp3-connected vinyl lathe somewhere in the back of D&D Studios...
