Last night, with good spirits provided by Bud Select, we FADERed it up with Issue 44 feature artists Tabi Bonney and Wale, who were nice enough to make the trip up to the Big Apple from the Nation's Capital for some real deal Riddick Bow-throwing and lingo-lessoning (bama, sysed, etc.). The DC dudes quickly won over the packed house with their incredible backing go-go band Mambo Sauce and generally gushed forth good humor, high energy and well-fitting hoodies. All in all, great times, and we probably could have stayed there and done a kind of hippy/rap whirling head nod all night, but before we knew it the show was over and we were left to stumble off into the night.
