THE FADER MAGAZINE
Current Issue #55There's so much in our summer music issue that we can barely contain it all. From Estelle's breezy pop to Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson's depressed anthems, to Crookers' out of control Italian raves. From the new cumbia of Buenos Aires to the next crop of NYC hitmakers Sean C & LV and Ryan Leslie to Abe Vigoda's LA melancholy—it's all in between our glossy covers. That's not even mentioning our stellar Gen F lineup and all the other stuff packed into the mag that is going to make our summers.

Miami Mizells
The week of the Winter Music Conference in Miami is in a constant state of flux from one year to the next. There was the addition a few years ago of M3 and then the absence of it this year, the weather, the guido fashion, the guidos, and the guidettes who love them. We thought the DJs must really feel bummed out, so we teamed up with Giant Step and Levi's to throw a dinner honoring the legendary 70s production team the Mizell Brothers and invited some of the DJs attending the conference to join us. The attendee list was nuts, the most influential DJs and producers from all over the world came through and toasted to the guys who as "The Corporation" were responsible for "ABC," "I Want you Back" and "The Love You Save" by the Jackson 5, and many more sampladelic relics.
