Bicycle Film Festival

May 18, 2007

If there's anything we love more than the dirty noise of former cover-gracers Gang Gang Dance, it's bicycle
acrobats. Fortunately, the two formed one
holy union on Wednesday night at Studio B as the Bicycle Film
Festival
kicked off six days of movies, parties and weirdos in lycra. Dan Deacon and Parts & Labor joined our Gang Gang, and we took pictures. They're after the jump.

The festival rolls on through Monday, with bikesploitation flick Monkey
Warfare
enjoying its eagerly anticipated New York premiere tonight and a raucous bike parade tomorrow. And if you're real fan of all things FADER, keep your eye on the BFF site for your opportunity to bid on a very special bicycle we built with Paul Rauen of C.H.U.D. 333 in Bushwick. The voluptuously framed lady's name is Magic Super Goodvibes Turbo, and she needs a loving home. Your money will go to a handful of non-prof bike co-ops, so pony up, snitches!
